Hi so I was thinking of upgrading my computer a little bit over Christmas break after my school semester is over.
My PC brand is a dell 660 with CPU 3rd gen i5 3330 @ 3.0 GHz, Nvidia gtx 650, Cooler Master Extreme 2 525W, 8 GB RAM.
I was thinking of replacing my i5 3330 cpu with i7 3770 (cant get 4th gen without replacing my entire motherboard which i dont want to do) and that the i7 uses 10 Watts less power than my current i5.
my graphics card from GTX 650 to GTX 970. If I am not wrong there is a 81 Watt difference between the 2 cards.
My question is will my PSU at 525W be able to handle this change? (again if I not wrong, there should be a 70 Watt increase in power total).
