Do I need a CPU fan upgrade?

I recently built a computer and the process went relatively smoothly. I installed Prime95 and monitored my temperatures by using the MSI Command Center application. When I first started the test, temperatures hovered around 70c, but as the test went on, the temperatures skyrocketed to 90c. I am wondering if I should add a second fan to my cooler, or possibly replace the stock fan and add two additional fans. I am also wondering which type/brand of fans I should get if this is needed (I would prefer to not get Noctuas because it would destroy my color scheme). My idle temps are 24c and gaming temps are around 40c for anyone who is wondering.
Here are my specs: i7 4790k @ 4.00 GHz | Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo | MSI Z97-G45 Gaming | GSKILL
Ripjaws 8GB 1866 (2*4) | GTX 650 Ti | 3 Terabyte Seagate Barracuda 64 MB cache
| Rosewill Hive 850 Watt 80+ bronze | Inwin GRone |

Don't use Prime95, it is extremely hard on Haswell processors. Test with OCCT Linpack or AIDA64.

Those high temps are probably just Prime, getting a better cooler won't help in that case. Your idle and gaming temps are fine, so I don't see an issue here other than Prime over stressing your CPU.

Anyway, test with one of the programs listed above and see how your temps are.

Are you referring to the Intel stock cooler? Because that's really not a good cooler. If you are having Temps hitting 90C you should replace the whole cooler. New fans aren't going to help.

Also, I'd like to make a suggestion for you but I use noctua. What is the color scheme you are matching?

I do like Noctua fans quite a bit, but I have a red and black color scheme. I was possibly thinking of the Corsair SP120s if I was going to do an upgrade. I am going to download the OCCT application. Is it possible to get a link for it? I just don't want to download something that isn't the right application.

OCCT

Replacing the fans isn't really worth it, unless you simply want quieter fans. Buying two Noctua fans is going to cost you roughly $60, and with that money you would be able to buy a better cooler.

The SP120's are nice though, if you want new fans, or want to go push/pull.
