i have everything but the HHD installed (got it yesterday), the estimated wattage is 422, is that accurate?

That sounds about right. 630w should be sufficient for that build. Do you plan on overclocking or adding a second GPU in the future?

no on overclocking, but maybe with the gpu, ive already decided that when i get another gpu that i would upgrade my psu, but you sure im not going to set my computer on fire?

Here's a good site for future reference when building. Don't forget to enter USB keyboards, mice, and other devices. More is better because it gives you more headroom and less stress on the PSU.

the asus calculator is saying it would be roughly 650, but the pcpartspicker says 422

Btw if you're going to spend $350 on a GPU you should consider a 970 instead of the 770. A 970 is ~350, preforms better and uses less power than the 770.

Don't save a few bucks on the PSU so you can cram more equipment in. Everything attached to the box depends on the PSU. It may run fine for a while but present problems thereafter. That's what headroom is all about. Does parts picker include headroom or is it just the component loads? Also remember that it takes more power at start up until everything has spun up.
