Hi,
I need a new PSU for my Gaming PC, 24pin ATX, and good enough for a GTX 980 SLI. Any value-for-money suggestions? Also, I want it to be durable. I plan to buy within a week.
Thanks!

$107.99 is $100-ish...lol. But if you want to drop down in price, look at the Core Edition: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207011
If you are going with dual cards, better to stay with an 850W in case you change cards and the next ones aren't as energy efficient as the new Maxwell-equipped GTX 980s.
If you absolutely must drop down to a 750W, get the XFX Gold: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207033

I'm still using the first XFX PSU I ever bought. Its an 850W Black Edition from back in the Dark Ages. http://img.hexus.net/v2/internationalevents/computex2009/XFX/DSCF0252-big.jpg
It's been used on several SLI and CF systems with never a whimper.

Thank you for your quick reply! Yes I can spend $100ish for a future-proof PSU. But does the '80 PLUS BRONZE Certified' will be a problem? I don't have enough idea about what those means...

Well, not knowing your budget I had to start somewhere. Bronze is the lowest of the certifications. Good quality, but not as efficient as the silver or gold. The one I linked you to is a good unit, rated in the 2nd tier: https://community.newegg.com/eggxpert/computer_hardware/f/135081/t/45344.aspx?Redirected=true

Use the chart to guide you. XFX, some Corsairs, Antec, Seasonic, high-end Evga are all good choices.

Thank you, clutchc. It looks like I'll be fine with a 750 Watt for my GTX980 SLI as well. Any suggestion on a tier I 750+ watt PSU within limited price like $100ish? If not, is it worth it to get the tier 1, or I should just get a tier 2 PSU?
