Basically, I have a M5A97 LE R2.0 and a Seagate 500gb 7200.10 that I ordered off of ebay (dont ask, I won't be using ebay for anything but GPU's from now on) The HDD was a working pull, however from a storebuilt Mac. I don't even know if the guy cleared the drive or not. But what does matter is that when I start up BIOS, I get the message "The current BIOS setting do not fully support the boot device. Click OK to enter the BIOS setup" I've been fooling around in BIOS, especially the CSM parameters which the same message "said" was the problem. Any ideas?

Okay, I just tested to see if that message would appear if they was no SATA or HDD hooked up to the MB. The message still played. So I guess its safe to assume that message plays not when the drive isn't compatible, but when the MB doesn't detect any HDD/SSD. That would make sense why Windows wasn't picking anything up. Following that train of thought, why would formatting work on another windows computer if it doesn't work on this one? Unless A. You're suggesting that just my MB doesn't have support for this drive or B. You're saying that I would have to format it on a mac
