Hi everyone, I would like to overhaul my computer and I know the CPU and GPU I would like to base this off of but am rather clueless on the rest and would appreciate some advice.

This computer is for gaming and streaming.

Desired Upgrades

CPU:
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646i74790k ] intel i7-4790k 4.0GHz
GPU: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-gtx970gaming4g ] MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V

I've done some research but am still a little overwhelmed at the sheer selection available in terms of which power supply and motherboard to purchase. Any suggestions?

My current ram is Patriot DDR-3 1600 MHz 2x4 GB. Is this sufficient for a new build or will I have to upgrade my ram as well.

Additional Information.
Approximate Purchase Date:
Within the next month or so

Budget Range: roughly $1000 but this isn't a hard and fast number, just generally what I'm looking at.

Location: City, State/Region, Country: California, United States

Sorry if I missed anything and thanks in advance!
