hello, I'm looking for GREAT value-for-money cpu with built-in graphics that plays old games well (namely half life, counterstrike, racing games). if newer games, 720P is enough, without AA and high details. shortlisted Core i5 4590, but I'd like to know if there are WAY cheaper option ? cause I plan to setup 4-5 PCs for LAN gaming. If I could save $50-100 for each CPU, that'll be great. maybe option from AMD? I'm not sure

This will play BF4 at reduced settings, according to AMD. I don't have one but indications are that as a really budget setup with integrated graphics, it does well. With a base clock of 4.1 that turbos up to 4.4 it doesn't do bad at all for the price. Single thread computations are slower than the i5 of course but you get what you pay for. The integrated graphics are far better on the A10 than the Intel HD graphics on the i5.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD A10-6800K 4.1GHz Quad-Core Processor ($129.97 @ OutletPC)
Total: $129.97
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
