Yea, a PCI-E 3.0 component will work on a PCI-E 2.0 motherboard slot, and nowadays you will not lose a significant amount of performance, actually, probably you will not lose any performance at all depending of the component.

looking for specific spec can only get you confuse. what really matters are how they perform in real world. how much you willing to spend for GPU?

best type of gpu 64 bit or 128 bit.

looking it that way will only make you confuse. memory clock speed combined with memory interface (that bit thingy) determined the total bandwidth of a card. that total bandwidth which is more important. look the spec here:

http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt-730/specifications

the one using GDDR5 module have the highest bandwidth even with smaller memory interface.

http://www.flipkart.com/galaxy-nvidia-geforce-gt-730-gc-1-gb-ddr5-graphics-card/p/itmdxdafhfhhwp7t

this gpu can handle upcoming 2015 pc game like ac unity, battlefield hardline etc.

if you really want 'gaming' card you need to increase your budget. to some GT730 is not even considered as entry level gaming gpu. right now the bare entrance to low end gaming gpu is GTX750Ti. that's mean expect to play the game with medium with low setting. if you want to play on medium to high setting you move towards the mid range cards like GTX760 or R9 2701X.
