i5 4670k vs fx 8350 for gaming and streaming

Hey Guys,
I am looking in to building my first Computer and i am not to sure what CPU I should go for. I am looking at the AMD FX 8300 to the 8350 or the i5 4670k.
I will be using the pc for gaming and streaming alot for different kind of game.

Beware that while streaming to twitch the fx 8350 will be better. Video encoding takes advantage of the more cores that the 8350 has. But, for pure gaming the i5 wins by a small margin. But if you are going to stream often save some money get a fx 8320 (a little cheaper than a 8350) and a better graphics card or motherboard.
Livestreaming will really favor the fx. I was in the same dilemma when I built my first computer. I was between a i5 and a i7, I chose i7 because the extra threads really help streaming and recording.

The fx 8000 series has my vote

thanks you every one but sadly not i don't have permission from my mum to build a pc until I am older even if she has watched me rebuild my current desktop ;(.

Hmm dont want to make a mom mad but it is my opinion that is something great to get into for teenagers and you can go to college for something technology related plus you found Toms so your a step ahead of the game :)

Tell her that it is only assembling it and takes less than a half hour plus you get more bang for your buck than with a prebuild and you could help everyone out in your family with a nice computer.

Yo CompuTronix hook this kid up with the building guide and some good stuff to show his mom.
