Hi, I am new to overclock. I read this guide almost three times and I am currently following it religiously http://www.techreaction.net/2010/09/07/3-step-overclocking-guide-bloomfield-and-gulftown/

I am still trying to find my stable BCLK but something seems odd here.

My last stable settings were:

Ratio 15

SpeedStep Disable (and all other power settings)

BCLK 160

DRAM FREQ - 960 (x6 for now)

UCLK FREQ - 3200 (x20)

QPI/VTT 1.4

IOH 1.2

I am only at 160 and the QPI/VVT voltage is already at 1.4 and I didn't tweak the memory yet. Is there something I am missing? It's a very old 920 c0, I am not sure if it's age can be a factor for the voltage it needs...Can I go past the 1.4v?

most c0 don't get past 3.8 ghz so it might very well be that you're at your sweetspot right now.
1.4v vcore is fairly high already but you can go a little higher if you can keep the temps low enough.

My temps at 100% load is at like 71 max, very happy with that.
