My friend got a problem with his UEFI dual BIOS. The other day he got an error during boot that says: "Main BIOS is corrupted. The system will be recovered from the backup BIOS. Updating the main BIOS..." Then the bar filled up, and after several restarts, Windows started normally. But then another problem appeared. Now Windows shuts down on its own shortly after startup (a window pops up saying it is shutting down, it is not a power issue).
What may cause this behaviour? Does he have to update the BIOS or is there some settings in BIOS or windows that would fix the issue? I am totally lost here.
