Directx11 crashing games

Hi. I have a big problem when playing a lot of games. A lot of them crash fairly soon, and most with a "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED" message. I believe that is the case at least for Civ 5 and War Thunder. XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Battlefield 2 (yeah, I know it's really old) go black for few seconds VERY frequently. I can't even play them. Some games, including the graphics-intensive Watch_Dogs, run just fine.

I have the Corsair 750M 750 watt power supply and Gigabyte GTX 780 overclocked GHz edition.

I have already tried fully reinstalling the drivers and underclocking the card by 100 MHz. Hasn't helped even slightly. The DirectX 11 installer just says I already have the most recent version. Is there a way to maybe reinstall it? Oh, and unless the integrated graphics on my i7-4770 can run XCOM, I sadly don't have another card to test my system.

Found this at the Microsoft website for the error you have stated.

"The video card has been physically removed from the system, or a driver upgrade for the video card has occurred. The application should destroy and recreate the device." There could be a chance that it may not be fully inserted. You have re-installed the drivers so that should not be an answer.

See, I don't want to send it to RMA before I know for sure. These guys charge you for testing if they haven't found anything, and the error seems to be pretty selective. I could have them play XCOM, but I don't know for sure they'll get the same thing.

I don't know why I haven't thought of this earlier. I completely took out the card and tried running XCOM on the integrated graphics only. It was actually pretty smooth, but on low quality. I managed to play with absolutely no errors whatsoever, though. Then I reinserted the card, re-launched the game, and black screens started happening as soon as I loaded the save. So it's either the card, or the PSU failing with supplying power. Anything I can do to test it? These errors are pretty selective...
