Hey guys..help me please..something is wrong with display since I got my new power supply. I guess I've done everything right and there's no issue in functioning of any part just that when I start my rig its normal but as soon as the system shuts down
The monitor start showing "check your video cable" instead of going to sleep.
I have a monitor who's max resolution is 1280×1024 but strangely its now showing too many more options of higher resolution. Not like I changed my graphics card or anything. Just the power supply.
There is a likely that I may have done is wrong. But the display is concerned from the graphics card. So put it in the slot and attached 2×6pin power to. Please help. Here's the configuration
Core i5 4460
8gb corsair vengeance ram
Sapphire R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 with OC boost
VS650 650W corsair power supply
Gigabyte H97M-D3H

Yes I saw pci-e written on both if them.
Moreover as I said..everything works fine when the system is on. It detects my graphics card. I played games at maxed settings.
But as soon as I shut the system down. The monitor instead of going to sleep shows "check you video cable"
