i'm thinking on upgrading my gpu so please before i buy can someone confirm if SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 OC (UEFI) will work on my :

gigabyte ep43t-ud3l?
intel e7400 core 2 duo
corsair TX 650 power supply

also, if it works, will it e slowed down?

Yes, in short, the card will work with your current set up.
However, your current CPU is under powered and so will bottleneck this card.

Sorry to dig this back, but I have one same board gigabyte ep43t-ud3l, this doesn't have UEFI support? Heard ppl said 750 ti doesn't work without UEFI either resulting the computer won't boot.

Should make no difference what BIOS your system uses. A PCI-e slot is a PCI-e, only the gen varies.
