The only reason for the Xeon is because it's the best way to get 8 processing threads for heavy workloads. If you really aren't gonna do that much video editing, go with a cheaper Core i5 like the i5-4460. The same with the RAM, for just gaming, 8GB (2x4GB) is enough.
