Hey guys I really need help finding a good motherboard that is under $140 for the i5 4690K and R9 290 (may do Crossfire later on). I am considering Asrock's Z97 Extreme3, which has already been suggested to me, but I was wondering if there are other boards that have more features for a slightly higher price or same price as Extreme3. I'm planning to OC my CPU to 4.2 ghz or higher . I also plan to OC my GPU but idk how much yet. Here is my incomplete build so far :)

Thanks so much! :)

Solution
I'd go the Z97-A, great mobo, have a half dozen builds on these and all clients are thrilled with it, a secondary choice worth a look is the Rock's Z97 Killer

Yes,more batter power phase quality and ALC1150 audio chip than asrock Z97 Extreme3(normal power phase quality ,ALC892 audio chip) and Asus Z97-A(normal power phase quality ,ALC892 audio chip) .

What is battery power phase quality and what does it do cuz I can't find anything on it from Google, and does the audio chip difference matter much? Out of the two which do u think has the better build, most features, and best overclock support cuz I may even go 4.5 Ghz on 4690k but for now i'm thinking 4.2 ghz since i'm inexperienced.

MSI Z97-G45 Gaming use Hi-c Cap to enhance CPU stability & overclocking ability.

Well in essence the 1150 has a higher SNR, meaning that it will have less interference and noise in the sound.

So,If you want to overclock,I think MSI Z97-G45 Gaming is best way you should go.

Okay thanks. Now I realize how hard it is to find the right motherboard. There's like 100 different mobos in the same price range and a lot of them are similar. I guess I'll have to read individual reviews, articles, etc. to be able to choose the right one.
