So I am paying for 3mb a sec internet. When i do a speed test i get a 13 ms ping, When I start any of my apps (steam, uplay, etc.) It jumps up to 800 plus. and all the servers for my games wont top more than a half mb download speed. This all started after comcast gave me a wifi modem. Before you ask the pc is hardwired into it. It speedtests at what its supposed to until it connects to a server as in steam. A game use to download in two hours or less. Now it takes three days literally. So any suggestions? Any and all ideas are welcome. Two techs just left and said its not thier problem because it speedtests on thier network just fine....such a load of bullshit. So i am spending 50 a month for a connection that i can speedtest with and thats it..Again before i got this new modem steam was downloading at 3 mb per second steady. Now it never tops more than 450 kbs
