It runs great for my current games like tomb raider and dragon age origins, but i need to look for an upgrade for my CPU to a quad core for dragon age inquisition. I was hoping to find something as a christmas present from my wife, so we can take advantage of some possible holiday sales.

I would like to stay within a reasonable budget for the CPU but i also would like to not have to upgrade again any time in the near future. (i bought my g3258 only a few months ago when they came out.)

Thanks in advance for any help.

Looks like the g3258 does not play Dragon Age Inquisition. I found others had the same problem and hoped I would not but no luck. it loads the splash logo then goes to black screen with music playing but no farther than that. I guess I will need to wait until after my Christmas gift cpu to play.

As far as the i5-4590, is it reliable to buy from ebay without fan from people who say it is new from a system they bought and upgraded immediately?

Thanks.
