AMD FX-8350 for $129.99 or Intel i5-4570 for $179.99, better deal for gaming?

The i5 4570 is better by far. You'd need to overclock the **** out of that FX to try to keep up, and you'd end up spending as much if not more to do it. The i5 is newer, faster, and offers a better upgrade path. Easy choice.

FX-8350 is dated now. At it's price range, it isn't bad. But you will get much better performance on the i5.
