Best 7.1 Headset for PC gaming W/Out Mic

Just looking for a good headset with positional surround. Preferably with a hidden mic or no mic at all as I just ordered a good table-top mic.
7.1 is my goal and my price range is up around $230 dallas, thanks ;)
ps. I love the siberia elite prism and I'm wondering if thats a good choice, thanks !

7.1 headsets are actally amazing. I currently use the logitech g35 which has a mic but can easily be muted/hidden by raising it up ( its a really flexible mic) its going for about 150 atm and it has 7.1 sround sound and it comes with voice morphing software which is pretty fun to mess around with.

I'm currently looking at an AKG Q701, and it looks fantastic, better than anything that a 'gaming' headset could offer, however I don't understand how to use surround with it. Since surround in headphones is virtual, can I use it as long as my soundcard/motherboard supports it? (it does)
I would like to know prior to purchasing this headset as I really want to be sure with this one!

If you have an external mic, might as well get a pair of gaming headphones with 7.1 audio. Why get a headset? Head"set" usually means headphones+mic. But, gaming headphones usually shows up as headsets. Anyways, have you looked at the Razer Tiamat, Audio-Technica, and Sennheiser? How about Logitech or Corsair? Razor Tiamat is surround 7.1, not emulated. But that comes at a price. What's ur price range exactly? $100? Or $500?
