Hey everyone, finally overclocking my 2500k using this guide.
http://www.overclock.net/t/1198504/complete-overclocking-guide-sandy-bridge-ivy-bridge-asrock-edition
I followed it to the T and put my cpu to 4.2ghz, I set my voltage to 1.260v in the bios, but when running prime95 for an hour test I noticed in CPUID that the voltage stayed at 1.232-1.240v during the whole hour test.
I do have intel speedstep enabled, would this keep the CPU voltage hovering at 1.232-1.240?
