Here is my current build
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB)
Intel Core i7-3770K Quad-Core Processor 3.5 GHz
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (Cpu cooler) im also looking into watercooling.
EVGA GeForce GTX770 SuperClocked
750 power Supply
250 Samsung SSD
1TB WD
Cooler Master HAF 912(front case fan will not reach my motherboard idk if thats bad or not)
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s Motherboard

im planning on getting the i7-4930k for $120 off so that means i will also be needing a new motherboard but im not sure which one to get i need some help with that. Also i need to make sure this proccessor wont bottleneck anything/will i need to get new ram for this new proccesor/motherboard??

Thanks im still a noob to computer building so thats why i sound clueless

Can i just ask where you are buying your cpu from? It should aoll work together aswell.

Depending on what you are working with for that new I7, you know that you are still fine for todays needs right? You will have no bottleneck issues even with a 970, just save some money :), You should upgrade when it's worth it, for example, the Z97's will support 5th generation cores(the unreleased ones) so just wait till they get released, then get a Z97 board.

You do not need an upgrade. You are still fine :)

770 - 970, your current I7 will handle streaming and editing.
