Guys this is a bit of a subjective thing but I took out an older generation Crucial SSD and installed a shiny new Samsung Evo Pro SSD a few months back - I remain persuaded the new is actually perceptually slower.
I've been through the sorry lot of 'benchmarks' to try to see if what I sense in use is backed by any tech facts, but as you know that's an uncertain field [somebody enlighten me]. I've been through the various SSD optimization steps, and run Samsung's utility to try to optimize better but nothing really materially changed.
is it just me? Using win7 home premium x64 on a Thinkpad x120e
