Will it be a long wait to get a quality nvidia 4gb card in the $200 and under range?

I am currently using a 1.5 gb asus gtx 580. Despite lots of new games having higher requirements, this card still runs most of them on hi-ish settings with no performance issues. I know this won't last forever though and am wondering how long I might have to wait to find a good 4gb card not over $200. I'd love to stick with an asus gtx card but I don't know if that will be possible. Any suggestions on comparable cards that might fall to this price sooner than later?

The GTX 970 was just released with 4GB. It is already priced very competitively around $350. GPU prices have stagnated some because new, smaller, more efficient chips have been delayed. Until something much better comes along (and there is no reason to believe that will happen in the next two years) prices will not go down much.
On the other hand, the Radeon R9 290 is a pretty decent card and has 4Gb RAM. If you don't mind buying used, you can easily get one off of ebay for $200
