How much power do I really need?

I suspect that I'm under-powered since my recent crossfire addition. I'm getting great frame rates (75-99 FPS in Shadow of Mordor) but my games are loading extremely slowly where they were quick before. I've used several online calculators to find out what I need but the result vary from 550w-1600w. I'd like an expert opinion.

My specs:

MOBO: Intel DZ77BH-55K
CPU: Intel i-7 3770 Ivy Bridge
RAM: 14GB DDR3 (2x 4GB G. SKILL, 1x 6GB Rando)
VIDEO: 2x R9 270x (Crossfire)
PSU: Corsair 750TX
SSD: Corsair Force GT 90GB
HDD: 2x 2TB WD Black
Other: Wireless card, Card Reader, Cooler Master CPU Fan, 4x Aux Fans
Optical: LG Blu-ray Burner

Thanks for any input!
