I bought a Yamaha YBA-11 (bluetooth receiver) for my stereo and it works fine if my phone is close to it but I would prefer using my pc (win7) to stream the music to it. They are about 18ft apart going through the floor or about 60 ft apart walking distance. I usually read reviews at newegg and/or amazon when I'm buying something I'm not very familiar with and this was time was no different. Unfortunately the reviews for every long range product had enough people saying "does not work as described" where I know they are telling the truth.
Unless the reviewers were fools and didn't expect going through a wall or floor to decrease range I don't see a transmitter that will work. Can you suggest anything?
