hey guys just bought/upgraded fx-6300 and my PC always shutting down at many random times.
after i install it, i heard the cpu fan is so loud and its really annoying
so i changed it with my last heatsink, cpu fan( which is quieter) and when i remove the new heatsink (the loud one) i saw my CPU has a little little bit of new thermal paste so i didn't wiped it or use thermal paste i thought it will do.and then i put my "old quiet" heatsink, cpu fan )didn't wipe it too).
and after 4 hours my pc starts to shutdown at random times.
i read somewhere when ur cpu overheats it will automatically shutdown. some defense mechanism something like that.

after that i download a software called HWmonitor and NOW my CPU temperature is:
now/value: 49-60 C (123 f) min: 39 C ( 102 f) max : 75 C (167 F) is this normal or very high temp?

sometimes when i work and render 3d the temp goes 85 C and then shutdown, idk if thats normal. and i really think the cause of the problem is i didnt wipe the cpu and the heatsink i didnt apply new thermal paste and the thermal paste in the "old quiet" is really causing the problem, i think.

theres ventilation in my PC i have a 140 mm fan here ventilating my PC.
so my question is whats ur temperature FX 6300 users. and is this normal? what should i do ? thanks

Interesting. The spreadsheet shows 125W, but the QVL only goes up to 95W. I suppose the QVL will be the more reliable source.
Your graphics card uses very little power, so even if your PSU is only good for half its label, it should be enough. Cheap PSUs have a nasty habit of taking other parts with them when they die though, and often lack good line filtering components. I hope you are using a good surge suppressor with it.
My FX-8320 idles around 30C-32C, and gets to 47C-49C under load. It is cooled by a Xigmatek Gaia, a 120mm tower-style cooler. Right now it is running at stock. If it were still my primary PC (it isn't; that's an i5-3570K) I'd probably overclock it, possibly a good bit, as my motherboard is rated for it.
You need to re-apply fresh thermal paste when you remount a CPU cooler. Your temp of 85C is too hot. What cooler do you have, and what motherboard? If the motherboard's VRMs get too hot, that may cause shutdowns or throttling as well. Normally, overheating will cause throttling (slowing down to decrease load) to cool off. What brand and model (not just wattage) is your PSU, and what is your graphics card?

right now my temp is 56 C is that hot ?thats my average temp. my question is that normal ?
my PSU is generic 600w
motherboard is this http://www.asrock.com/mb/NVIDIA/N68C-GS%20FX/index.asp?cat=.
cpu hearsink is stock.
what do you think is causing this shutdown ? what should i do pls answer all my question thanks. :)

Your motherboard does support 125W CPUs, so it should be okay, especially if it is indeed getting decent airflow over it. It's an ancient board (with a modern socket tacked onto it), but according to https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AgN1D79Joo7tdE9xMUFlMEVWeFhuckJEVF9aMmtpUFE&gid=2 is not known for problems.
Do you have a graphics card, or are you using the motherboard's graphics?
A generic "600W" PSU is most likely actually a 350W PSU-shaped object with a liar-label on it. Is it also getting hot? That could be causing your shutdowns as well.
Load temps of 56C are a little warm, but not bad or unsafe.

what do you mean 125w ? you mean the TDP ? i ask some dudes here they sayid it doesnt support 125w.
CPU support list (ony 95w):
http://www.asrock.com/mb/NVIDIA/N68C-GS%20FX/?cat=CPU
and fx 6300 is only 95w. im using gt 630 ddr5 1gb
and the store that i bought the PSU is the biggest PC store in our country and their are reliable source of computer parts.
i really think the problem is that i didnt apply thermal paste on the cpu . i just think and the old heatsink has an old thermal paste on it. so this is my question whats ur CPU and ur CPU temp ? thanks
