Why ? If i do is it gonna stil be compatible with the whole build ? Which one do you recommend at the same price range ?

Even Z87 mobo are SLI enabled. Your CPU is Devil Canyon Chip. Though you can use it on Z87 mobo provided, there is an BIOS update for that, still you should consider buying Z97 series mobo as it will enable you to upgrade to broadwell series CPUs as well without changing the mobo plus they have M.Sata support built into the mobo along with SATA express port.
