how to fix a total white screen without any safe mode

This morning out of the blue I lost my entire screen. Now there is nothing but a white screen and when the computer reboots NOTHING comes up I have tried both F8 and F12?
Any suggestions??

this is a laptop we could try cmos reset by unplug the ac and remove the battery then press power 30 sec put back ac power cable on and try to boot .

I don't have an external monitor to connect to check. Any other way to check for this first?It was fine this morning and then the white screen. When I try to press Ctrl, Alt Delete or the F8 or F12-an alarm sound goes off. The only way to shut it off is to shut down the computer. I have Windows 7 and a Dell Inspirion if that helps.
