Alright, So my specs are:
Intel i7 2600
2X GTX 670 SLI
12 gb of 1333mhz Ram.
Asus ROG MAXIMUS V GENE Motherboard.
The board and both cards are both capable of running at PCI-E 3.0 16x Yet my first card (EVGA GTW 670) Runs at a max of PCI-E 2.0 @ 8x. The second card (Asus GTX 670 dc2) Runs at PCI-E 2.0 @ 4x. Both are sufficiently powered, Fully plugged in and both remain at the same speeds when stress tested.
Is there anyway to change this/ A reason why it happens?
Also, here is a SC of GPU-Z For one of the cards: http://gyazo.com/b884499a9de19b66a4c9f0df8da47727
Now it never mentions in Bus interface PCI-E 3.0, Is there a reason for this?
Appreciate any replies.
