I was wondering if anyone could help me with a $2000 (cad) gaming pc part list, this must include OS (windows 8.1) and a monitor (preferably 24"+) sadly, but any parts list will help me out, thanks!

A 4790k is unnecessary for gaming, and I would get a faster and better SSD. Also, for a massive budget like 2k, A good looking case and a GTX 980 should be a must. Also, A monitor with 144Hz is a good idea. Also, this CPU cooler can be expanded to include GPU later.
