Um ok my bios version is F1 the newest is F3 can i ask how to update it?
I heard that bios flashing can break the motherboard.
I should also add that i dont have a usb stick on hand.

If you have never flashed a BIOS, you should likely use the Gigabyte @BIOS flashing utility from within Windows.

You should also contact Gigabyte and verify the Rev 4.1 will support the FX-8320E --- it is not on the CPU support list for that revision, but likely should (and will) be on the list soon.

Alright i fixed it now im just waiting on gigabyte to tell me if the cpu works my my board.

We know the regular FX-8320 is qualified, and it's the same price as the 'E' (as of now).

The -E is simply a newer chip (and likely higher-binned). Though the base speed is a bit lower the Turbo speeds are the same.

I suggested the -E because it's flying past the older model FX-8320 in OC'ing, is 95w, and would be a near-perfect solution for a 4+1 phase motherboard like the Gigabyte.

What CPU are you using, now?

Im using an fx 4100 and its bottlenecking my 660 hard
also i have 0 plans of overclocking
and i can only afford this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/AMD-FX8320-Edition-4-0GHz-Socket/dp/B009O7YU56
so i dont think i will be getting the -E will the one in the link still work with my pc? And also would the stock heatsink for it be ok?
