I have a DSL router providing internet to 3 ethernet cables and about 3 wireless connections currently. I need to set up two machines in a different room that only have ethernet cable connections (no wireless). How do you solve that? I tried to set up an apple express router in that room so I could plug in the ethernet cables and then have it wirelessly connect to the DSL router in the other room but it wouldn't work...I couldn't get it to communicate wirelessly with the DSL modem. Is there a specific line of products that deals with this issue? I looked at some of the TP Link products but I want to be sure that I am not just configuring the apple express wrong. I am thinking that what I am trying to do really doesn't fall under the bridge mode situation and that I need to set up a roaming network instead. Can a DSL modem be a node on a roaming network or do I always have to have 2 routers in addition to the DSL modem?

Wow that sounds like exactly what I am looking for! And I think you are right about the Apple device wireless connection exclusively to other Apple devices.....a bit snobish if you ask me...
