I have a corsair 250D case and an Asus maximus VI impact motherboard. First time build. Read and viewed alot of informations prior to purchasing my components. I know they should fit but i am having trouble aligning my board to the case standoffs. Please help. And thank you before hand.

This can be tough sometimes for sure, just get each screw started a couple of turns, don't tighten any screws until you have them all started.

I would certainly get rid of that foam, thats a bad idea in my opinion in the first place. The shield is supposed be tight, but that is nonsense right there, and that foam can only come apart and get into all the connections.
