Will my motherboard Gigabyte H61M DS2 Rev 4.0 support corsair vengeance 1600mhz 8x1 GB ram?

And also should I get 8x1 or 4x2 GB? 4x2 GB is costly as compared to 8x1 by 600 rupees ($10), so is it worth the extra money?

Also I have the option of Gskill Ripjaws which costs about the same.

I am mainly worried about if my mobo will support it or not.

Also it is 240pin configuration, so will my mobo accept it?

My other PC specs are:-
i3-3220 3.3GHz
Gigabyte h61m DS2 Rev4.0
R9 270x
Corsair VS650.

Thanks

Gigabyte H61M DS2 Rev 4.0 RAM support information:
http://www.gigabyte.com.mx/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4757#sp
1) "2 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory
* Due to a Windows 32-bit operating system limitation, when more than 4 GB of physical memory is installed, the actual memory size displayed will be less than the size of the physical memory installed." It's also possible that a single RAM module may have issues, and a single module will run at single data rate and dual data rate performs better. So, there is no question the extra $10.00 for 2 modules (2x4) will be worth it.

3) "Support for DDR3 2200(OC)/1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules". This means your mobo BIOS RAM settings may have to be overcocked to support 1600Mhz RAM, but the i3 3220 does support 1600Mhz RAM and it may auto overclock it. Either way it's a yes, you can install 1600Mhz RAM.

GSkill Ripjaws Ram is quite common... it's voltage is 1.5V an so is the motherboard... so it is supported. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428
