My dell desktop will loosing internet connection at sign in and password

My dell desktop will connect to the internet but when I try to connect to any account, my ebay account, FB etc, that required sign in and password it loosing internet connection. Seems that the problem surfaced after I had a windows update.

It's a desktop, hard wired.

My laptop using wifi works fine so it's not the internet connection but my desktop.
