Just wondering something about emulators

Emulators, especially PS2, NGC and Wii emulators are difficult to run and play games on some computers. My desktop struggles to play half of my games though I think part of it is because I'm using the disks I have. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows if using a server to do most of all or most of the processing for the game then just streaming the game on a normal computer in another room. Just wondering if this is possible or if this is better than having a single powerful computer to use for emulators.

Yes I believe it's possible, it's actually a feature of SteamOS I believe, since it's linux based, so when someone wants to play a game that requires windows resources they can stream it from another computer.

As for the process itself, I haven't ever streamed a game from a server so I don't have many ideas on how to go about doing it.
