As it states I have no audio from the front or rear I/O.

About a year ago I had to re-install windows 7 64 bit because my hard drive decided to

breathe its last breath. So, I order me a fancy new SSD and re-installed windows. Boot it up,

installed all the necessary drivers for my motherboard, gpu and the lot. Sound was being emitted

via the gpu to my monitor so I thought "yay no complications, fantastic". Then I tried plugging in

my headset and... nothing. They are usb powered but use 3.5mm for audio so i could tell that

they were on (the ambient static) but no sound was coming through. I tried the rear ports, nada.

Double and triple checked realtek and my default devices in Windows Audio Manager and all

looked fine. My PC detects when something is plugged in, Windows Audio Manager displays the

sound meter rising and falling so it is outputing sounds, I've tried disabling all of the Nvidia sound

options in the Device Manager as well as in the Windows Audio Manager. I have uninstalled/re-

installed the realtek drivers a million times and made sure all my chipset drivers are up to date as

well as my bios. I about one or two more attempts from blowing my brains on the wall behind me

so please if you have any help that would be fantastic. Thanks for taking the time to read what

probably qualifies as a short story and thank you for the vast knowledge of the internet hopefully

coming to my rescue.
