Recently, I decided to reinstall Windows on my PC because I wanted a fresh start. I booted from the Windows 8.1 DVD and I get this:

: (

Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you.

It then restarts the PC and boots back into Windows. Anyone know what's causing the problem? My specs:

  • i5-4690k (not OC'ed but has a Hyper 212 EVO cooler)
    GIGABYTE GA-Z97-HD3
    G.Skill Ripjaws X 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
    SAMSUNG 840 EVO 250GB SSD
    Pioneer BDR-209DBK Blu-ray/DVD/CD writer

Thanks in advance!

Yes, it was error 0xc000021a. I looked it up on Google, but none of the solutions really helped. Would you advise anything?
