I just want to add on. If you have a budget. Go for the 970 it can be overclocked and become faster then the GTX 980. I overclocked without buying any extra cooler's pure stock. but thats just becaue you were asking if it was worth it. Personallyi would upgrade your CPU to an i7 4770k or 4820k because i have the rxact build as you just with an i7 4770k and get around 130 fps on bf4 ultra at 1920x1080.Or you could upgrDe your monitor!
Hi there
I would think it's safe to assume that you are gaming with this rig?
My suggestion: Better graphics capability as this is where you are more likely to have performance issues with any of the newer games.
GTX980: faster than or equal to R9-290X and much friendlier on the power budget/noise levels.

Yeah, it's for gaming haha, thanks for your reply!

Alot of sources seem to recommend the 970 over the 980 because of value for money... Is the performance diffrence between the 980 and 970 worth the extra money???
