Hey! How it's going. A week ago I posted a thread asking about a pc configuration. Luckily I was able to get some money so I've upgraded some things. Please let me know what you think.

-AMD FX-8320 3.5GHZ
-GSkill 8GB 1600Mhz
-Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P or Asus M5A97 R2.0?
-MSI Gaming OC GTX 970 4GB
-XFX 650W Semi-modular
-CM Hyper 212 Evo
-Thermaltake Versa II

Here in my country (Argentina) everything is overpriced, so this would be a budget pc in my case. My main doubt is about the mother. I'd like to oc the cpu to 4-4,2GHZ, not more. Which motherboard should I get? I know it would be awesome to get a 990fx but it escapes from my budget. So, what do you think about the overall pc, and would it be ok to give a light oc with one of those motherboards + CM Evo?

Thank you really much guys!:D

That looks good to me. Make sure you have 2x4gb ram not just one stick of 8gb. I would get the asus i have the ASUS M5A99X a very similar board to the M5A97 and i love it. You should be able to do a decent overclock (more than 4.2 most likely) on the the CM 212 EVO, it is a great cooler for the price.

Hey, thank you so much! I will go for the Asus then. Yeah, the rams are dual channel. What do you think about the rest of the pc, i mean, cpu, gpu. To be honest this is the best rig I can get for that money (u$1700). I hope it will work properly :)

1700 US dollars? That is quite a bit expensive. Are you including monitors or something in that price? Here is a better intel build for $1100.

Haha, welcome to Argentina, where everything is overpriced, the taxes for buying this kind of things are extremely high.
I made a topic asking about that. My budget is thight... I made and effort to get the gtx970..
Anyway, I read that the i5 is much more powerful. The things is, If I will get a very noticeable performance, I can do it. Anyway, if not, I prefer staying with amd rig. I dont what do you think... Thanks!

PS: Here the Intel i5 4690K costs nearly 390 dlls. Apply that for all the components

I would stay with AMD then if intel is too much the fx 8320 is still very good especially with an overclock. In most games there wont be much of difference between it and a new i5. How much does the 8320 cost there?

Sure, I will do that. Here the 8320 costs nearly u$240 (Because I found it cheaper than other places, if not, about 280dlls. Thank you!
