Will NVIDIA ever support FreeSync? Or Displayport 1.2a

I don't like AMD GPUs cause they always update their drivers late.
Maybe Nvidia will be forced to support Freesync in 1.3 but I don't know...
G-Sync will perish cause of the expensive &200 module

If it is an AMD proprietary technology, I think hell would freeze over before nvidia got permission to use it. (Not really up on Freesync, but if its made by AMD, id be surprised if they let nvidia use it.)
