Unable to connect to the Internet through Ethernet

Hello, I'm having some trouble connecting to the Internet through my router. All the other devices connected to the router (wired/wireless) can connect to the internet but my desktop computer cannot. The router is an Optimum Smart Router (if there is a model number associated with it I'm not sure what it is/how to find it). My computer's motherboard is an FM2A88X+ Killer series. If anyone could fix the problem, I'll be happy to give more details regarding the matter.

a bit of more details on how it is not getting connected would help. but genrally try these first

1. have you installed your ethernet drivers?

2.is your cable working?

3.are your ports working (on you PC/modem)

1. I installed the drivers for the ethernet port, nothing happened, even after restarting the computer.
2. Yes, I replaced the cable after this problem started.
3. The modem port is working, and the port on my PC should be working because it detects I'm connected to the router+modem.

The connection status is Unidentified Network - No Internet Access

"Unidentified Network - No Internet Access" is when IP settings are incorrect. Fiddle around with the IPv4 settings.
Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Click on network "Connections" > Properties > Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) > Properties >

I went into the IPv4 properties, they had already been set to automatic.

Fiddle around the properties. If you got no luck try this:
192.168.1.55
255.255.255.0
192.168.1.1

Keep the DNS as automatic.

If you still got issues, change the DNS to:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

OR

192.168.1.1
Empty

Hope this works.

Unfortunately, I tried all of the options above, nothing worked out. The same connection problem persists.

I updated the settings please make sure.
If problem consists, go to network and sharing center again and on the left click on "Change Adapter Settings" > and right click on the Local Area Connection and Disable it and enable it again or you can simply right-click and click "Diagnostic"

i would recommend keeping the gateway and DNS to default ,

sometimes if there are multiple drives clashing might occur(usually it shows no internet connection)

try going to device manager by rightclicking on mycomputer and see if there are more than one drivers installd

also please try to UNINSTALL before reinstalling your drivers

You can try updating your bios too if this doesnot help

Nothing worked again.

EDIT: I tried plugging in my Ethernet cable into the modem directly instead of through the router, and I can get a connection perfectly fine, however, I still need the router to be used as I have other devices connected through the router.
