I broked the laws of physics?

Anyone and everyone knows air bubbles go up right?
it never sits at the bottom of a res with water on top of it does it?
Water is heavier so gravity makes it go lower and air being lighter, sits on top?
I'll just leave this here then and giggle as my loop bleeds itself into the fire extinguisher res...
**Edit, it is a sub-par video clip, but I'll post a better one when I get time**

Only thing I can think is my flow is so strong it pulls the air bubbles through, despite what gravity has to say about it,
but given whats in my loop and the fact I use two less than optimum pumps I'm pretty amazed if that is the case,
Now, how to mod a wormhole into the loop for some real cooling hehe...
**Edit Build log for anyone who doesn't know my rig already http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/311860-31-next**

The vids from about two mins after I hooked it up Ccampy so That was first powerup for the revised loop, bubbles I expected, stroppy bubbles ignoring physics I didnt lol, and two pumps is my standard, when my chillerbox is connected theres three pumps on the loop :)
@Scout, I designed this loop to minimise lifting, unless you fancy lifting 75Kg of computer?
Besides, any roatation etc would be with the intention of getting the air to the F.E. Res, not to either of the T-viruses, if,
and I seriously mean IF theres any air in there after its finished self-bleeding like this,
then I'll be lifting the F.E. above the T-Virus, and tilting the rig on its rear until water from the F.E. drains into the T-Viruses, right it again and simply top up the F.E. as a 2 minute no mess job :)
My loops not a simple creature at all :)

It's called Reverse Air Gravity, usually from high Solar Flare activity, didn't you learn anything from watching Serenity? (Snark! )

Shiny Capn! :)

So you actually have it set up and being primed, Well Done!

What kind of future mod plans do you have swirling around in the Brain Pan?

/slaps forehead jin ju shi ne swa boo, was I ever not thinking about reverse air gravity! In that case I'm gonna need some extra burnthrough from the engine room or this bleeding is going to get pretty interesting :)
Yes Ry, like I said mate 10 min job to integrate it into the loop :) havent checked this morning but will update after work, all Shiny tho Cap'n no need to fret :)
(But I think the bit that fell off may have been the primary buffer panel...)

Moto, Did you ever make the similarity comparison of the Firefly ship design to the quad engine design of the ship Prometheus, (In the movie Prometheus)?

Prometheus is a very similar ship design to the Firefly, except it has an extra set of engines on each side of the ship.

My favorite part of the Prometheus movie is watching the ship land, hopelessly SciFi fanaticism! :pfff:

Damn, now I have to watch Prom again lol, I never paid much attention to that ship other than somehow it seemed to have been built in ten minutes hmm(government coverup...) future iedes will involve a new case mate, so long way off yet but the idea mill is warming up and all parts of the current loop will be present :)

I would like to get my entire chilled water cooling all inside one large case, including the Watercool MO-RA3 side mounted radiator, I've only found one possibility to house it all and that's the Mountain Mods Extended Ascension case, but even it will be tight and I'll still have to physically mod it!

With the panels I'll need it will be quite expensive, so it's more on the wish list than reality list for me.

I've actually considered getting a metal sheer and steel bending brake and making a case completely from scratch.

On the price wise scale since I would have to modify the MM case anyway, I may break even? or Not?

There's still the steel sheets, prep to paint, prime, and finish coat with auto paint, etc. so it is not a cheap way to go either?

One thing for sure, it would be exactly what I need!

And the only one on the freaking planet!

Mines likely to be a deskmod, probably going to go a bit post apocalypse on it hehe, we may be moving to somewhere with a garage (read as my workshop haha) so I can mod my desk up and really confound those bungers,
and stop playing with numbers lol, we both know the financial cost of a build is not what matters :)

Can't rotate picture because photobuckets playing up and I'm short on time, but I'm now idling at 25'C in a 17'C room,
oh and the only fans on are the Psu,northbridge(25mm) and the fan I modded over the Cpu block,
(Gfx cards fans on 10% through CCC, lowest manual setting is 20% but auto has put them on 10%) so basically passive cooling right now with an 8'C delta, might drop an icecube in the res just for fun :p

Will check loop for locks and top up when I get the time but for now its a nice little addition to my loop

I gave your previous 'lava lamp' a little thought dude and one thing I thought of was kids non toxic putty in a res, broken into little balls, the flow should agigate them enough to give a lavalamp like appearance, and I'd mesh the inlet amd outlets to stop it from getting out and possibly clogging the pumps :)
