Yesterday I made my upgrade from:
i7 2600k,
Asus Formula V,
EVGA SLI GTX 670,
Corsair H60

To:

i7 4970k
Asus Formula VII
SLI GTX 970
Corsair 100i

After this, Ive been getting problems with downloading files. The download get corrupted and I can't open them. I'm also having problems with internet connections like webpages now loading right. Also I'm getting an error message from asacpi.dll not been found.

I installed all drivers for my new components and all. My internet or browser is not the problem since Ive another laptop which Ive been using to test internet speed.

Also I can't use Windows Updates as they dont download.

No virus has been detected by Malwarebytes or Avast.

Solution
Check the settings for the RAM and make sure they are correct. If you have two sticks of RAM, try the install with only one installed - and if it fails, try swapping them.
On your laptop, go to ASUS's website and download the latest drivers from their website (to a flash drive) and install them on your PC. Any combination of the intel chipset drivers, network driver and/or other drivers on the system that aren't correct (Windows tries to install their versions) can create this problem.

Anytime I install a new mobo, I reinstall the OS first, then plug in a flash drive that has the current drivers from the mobo manufacturer's website, and install them before doing the updates.

After all the updates are done, you may have to go back and reinstall a few of the drivers, as Windows tries to sneak one in.....

I tried installing the drivers from the CD first and then from their website via flash drive. Still the same problem. I'm trying not to lean towards reinstalling the OS. I did this upgrade once like 2 years ago with the mobo. Went from an Asus Pro I believe to the Formula and didnt have this problems.

Just did the BIOS update and still no fix. Now I get when I download a file for example Geforce Experience that its not a valid Win32 application. WTF? I had it on my computer before!

Just fixed it, I notice that my temps were going high so I decided to reinstall thermal paste and tight up the CPU block. Now everything is in good shape for now.
Thanks for your help!
