Hello everybody

I'm looking forward to build a new system from scratch, I need help deciding upon some parts of it.
I will buy the components in the next 1-2 months.
The budget has no real limits but I'm not throwing money in the wind, so I may spend a bit too much on some parts without buying the most expensive ones, though.
The system will be a multipurpose one, best described as a gaming rig with some extra CPU power and more RAM (I need them sometimes). Medium overclocked for the long run, I'm not looking to beat records.
I live in the UK.

The parts:
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/DjXTt6

CPU Intel Core i7-5930K 3.5GHz 6-Core
CPU Cooler Intel BXRTS2011AC
Motherboard Asus RAMPAGE V EXTREME EATX LGA2011-3
Memory G.Skill Value 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-2400
Video Card Asus GeForce GTX 980 4GB STRIX
Power Supply Corsair AX1500i
Monitor Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q 27.0"

Case will be Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra, I know, there are issues with this case.. cheap materials, stuck sidepanels, lack of dust filters, poor quality fans, useless casters... this is not a quality case, but I like it, and I really like the top docking bay. There will be some moderate modding involved later on, and I plan a water loop inside, fans will be replaced, etc.. so hopefully in the end won't be that awfull.
I can't seem to find it in the UK, so in the end probably I'll ship it from overseas.

I already have the storage.

CPU cooler is just a cheap one to get it going, I haven't decided yet if I want to buy the Corsair H100i or to build a classic custom loop.

Memory: I'd like it to be fairly overclockable, but not the most expensive ones. I picked G. Skill Value, but honestly I don't know too much about it.

Video card: I will buy just one, but keep an eye for SLI, if the need arise later on.

Power suply: Overkill by far, I know, but the reviews are mindblowing, this thing is quiet up to 450 wats, 7 years warranty, and more..

Monitor: There will be only one, and 4k isn't mature yet. They say the ROG Swift PG278Q is a gamer's choice for 1440p, pretty expensive, but... and then G-Sync...

Please help me with the following:
1. Memory, which one should I buy?
2. Monitor, are there other competitive options in terms of price/performance for 1440p?
3. Fans, I need good quality ones, silent, and red or transparent preferably (black-red theme..)
4. A fan controller?
5. Do you know where I can buy that case in the UK?
6. I would like a good mechanical keyboard, but I know nothing about them. Please advise.
7. Any other opinions or criticism on the build or the other components? Please speak up and thank you for your time.
