I built a new Win 8 system (updated to 8.1) It has the Asus H97 Plus mobo with onboard audio from Realtek. On my old system I was able to separate all jacks so speakers and headphones could play different streams as well as input jacks were separated. This time around the only options I have is splitting inputs. I have tried changing the bios to ac '97 and hdaudio while the front panel was wired for hdaudio and tried both while wired for ac '97. No change whatsoever. Does this board just not support splitting outputs?
