I installed this drive in my Alienware X51 in July and use it as the primary boot drive with all my programs/most used games stored on there...... I use a HDD as storage for photos, videos, other games, etc. It is the Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD drive. I believe I optimised it when I first installed it into my system, according to a fairly reputable step by step guide and advice available on Tom's Hardware.

So I am aware of the Samsung Performance Fix and since I wasn't getting great scores on my Crystal Disk Mark tests and noticed my SSD wasn't performing as good as it should do, I decided to run the performance fix. It seemed to run fine, but here are my latest results after running the supposed "fix":

CrystalDiskMark scores 23rd November 2014 30 minutes after installing the official Samsung performance fix for the 250GB 840 EVO:

Sequential read: 272.1 MB/s Sequential write: 241.6MB/s
512k read: 258.6 MB/s Sequential write: 229.9 MB/s
4K read: 31.02 MB/s Sequential write: 56.04 MB/s
4K QD32: 212.9 MB/s Sequential write: 194.3MB/s

The drop down boxes at the top of Crystal Disk Mark 3.0.3 x64 read: 5 (first drop down box); 1000MB (second drop down box); C:21% (50/233GB) (third drop down box)

Please look at these scores and explain why I am not getting the performance I should be expecting of the 840 evo.
