You shouldn't simply overclock a CPU unless it is a "K" series CPU or you have a motherboard that has overclock-handling chipset (Z & X series motherboards).
And I guess, there is no 1st gen Core-i3 overclockable processor.
Ocing on 2nd gen and later mainstream intel cpus is easy mode. You don't need a k cpu for earlier. Also there is no z and x is the wrong socket.
