I have been using just a entry level GTX 650 Ti and just built a new PC with all new parts and the GPU is the last thing I needed..my friend offered me 2 MSI HD R7950'S twin frozr with crossfire bridge all in the boxes gently used for $120 and I couldn't say no. I am just curious what you guys think? Will these make a big difference in performance for me?

Intel i7-4790K @4.0GHz for now
Asus sabertooth z97 mark 1
16GB DDR3 1866

That would be a fairly significant upgrade. I would be a bit skeptical of the "Gently used" though. Sounds to me like they could have been used for mining.

A single 7950 is ~85% faster than a 650Ti (Non boost) Tack on ~60-80% for the games that support Xfire and you have your performance increase.

Maybe, but I have been really good friends with him for half my life and I trust him, and for the price I can't complain..they work and I'll be installing them tomorrow and hopefully will like what I see
